Urban Design

Good urban design should shape every aspect of our urban environments, from the form and arrangement of external spaces to the style of the furniture. This street furniture was designed by our landscape architects to fuse art with function, whilst also respecting local cultural associations and materials.

Collaborating with a glass artist and a writer, the practice created a suite of contemporary street furniture in granite, glass and steel to complement the surrounding Georgian architecture. Grey Street has been dubbed the "Best Street in Britain"
